Mission: Impossible – Rogue Nation 3½★

Let’s not fool ourselves. If it was an impossible mission, it’d be a pretty short film.

Mission: Ludicrous?
Mission: Preposterous?
Mission: Irreverent?

Why not mix them all up in a bucket, throw in a manic maniac Tom Cruise, an arrow-less Bourne-less Jeremy  Renner, a zombie-less Simon Pegg, a Liz Lemon-less Alec Baldwin, a tonne of James Bond-less motorbike / car chases / exotic locations / crazy stunts, and then blend with a Nutri-bullet (it atomises your food at the molecular level – honest!).

Come on, it’s a fun action film. You’re really not reading this review to decide if you’re going to download it off iTunes or buy the Blu-Ray are you?

Good. Silly. Fun.

Dun da dun da dun dun, Dun da dun da dun dun, Diddle dun, Diddle dee, Diddle daaa, Da Na!

Oh, alright, 4★.

Out now on iTunes.

Star System: Out of 5
5★ Instant classic. Stop reading, go see.
4★ Really good. Worth the money.
3★ Solid. Maybe some areas worth more attention. It’s OK.
2★ If I had the chance I wouldn’t have seen this. But I did, and somehow survived.
1★ OH, THE HUMANITY! Why? WHY‽ Why did they make this stinking pile of garbage? Avoid like plague.
If I can’t make up my mind I’ll slip in a ½★. Because I can.
